Krewe of Bowlegs 70th Pirate Festival
It is time to book your rooms for the upcoming Krewe of Bowlegs 70th Pirate Festival in beautiful Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This year, the festival is scheduled for May 14-18, 2026 and we are returning to The Island Resort on Okaloosa Island.
Captain Billy LXX invites you to start booking your rooms using the room block at The Island Resort. The room block is setup for May 14-18, 2026, but you can extend your stay, if needed. The earlier you book your room, the better, as this room block is only held by The Island Resort for a limited time (The room block is valid until April 16, 2026 but if you can book rooms by the end of February, it will help us plan the VIP excursions accordingly).
The preliminary festival schedule will be similar to the past couple of years and includes the following events:
Thursday, May 14, 2026: VIP Check-In beginning at 4PM followed by a trip to Downtown FWB for dinner & drinks.
Friday, May 15, 2026: VIP Check-In beginning at 11AM; VIP Pizza & Pool Party (11AM-2PM); Skirmish Party (6PM-11PM)
Saturday, May 16, 2026: Landing Pre-Party followed by Boat Party & Taking of the City; Post-Landing Party in Downtown FWB
Sunday, May 17, 2026: Dignitary Brunch, Crab Island & Victory Party
Monday, May 18, 2026: Torchlight Parade
